With how it has been her safe place, what parents and carers need to understand about how to best support their loved ones, and why it is so difficult to break free from the one thing that feels so right and so wrong all at the same time.Lynn, and other parents of children with eating disorders, commenced a local support group for parents and carers in 2015.  Two years later, a national, not-for-profit, volunteer, carer-to carer peer support organization, Eating Disorders Families Australia (EDFA) was formed.  EDFA is the only Australian organization that solely supports parents and carers of those experiencing eating disorders.*                                      *                                         *                                         *                                            *Kate is the author of Bulimia Sucks!
