Bulldogs Dominate in Heat | Georgia Bulldogs Football News

Georgia crushed Tennessee State 63-3 in a scorching-hot opener, with QB Gunner Stockton throwing for a near-perfect 93.75% completion rate and TDs on every drive he played, while RB Nate Frazier exploded for 72 yards and 3 touchdowns on just 4 carries. But the Bulldogs weren’t flawless—85 penalty yards and a rare jersey-clash blunder marred the game, plus a botched field goal snap cost them extra points. Coach Kirby Smart praised the team’s resilience under 101-degree heat, the hottest game in program history. With Frazier’s power and Stockton’s precision showing promise, Georgia now must fix penalties and special teams lapses to stay sharp as they tackle tougher opponents ahead.
