Bulldogs' Pass Rush Under Pressure | Georgia Bulldogs Football News

The Bulldogs’ pass rush is in question after losing key transfer Amaris Williams to a torn ACL, but encouraging signs emerged in their second scrimmage with sacks and “havoc.” Last year’s defense ranked solid overall but had just 20 sacks — their lowest since 2002. Returning stars like Chris Cole and Raylen Wilson helped fill the gap, while newcomers like Gabe Harris and five-star Elijah Griffin are expected to step up. With a new outside linebackers coach and young players like freshman PJ Dean in new roles, the focus is on building a championship defense that stops the run, limits big plays, and gets off the field on third down.
