Bullet Train (Action! April)

Action! April is pulling into its final station here on We Drink & We Watch Things, and we're going out with a bang – or should we say, a stab, a punch, and a whole lot of close-quarters combat – with Bullet Train, now streaming on Hulu! Grab your drink and get ready for a ridiculously fun and over-the-top action extravaganza. This week, we're breaking down this wild ride of assassins, double-crosses, and a whole lot of mayhem confined to a Japanese bullet train. We'll be dissecting the film's hyper-stylized action sequences, the colorful cast of characters (and their equally colorful nicknames), and whether this movie manages to deliver on its promise of pure, unadulterated entertainment. Expect some laughs, some gasps, and maybe a debate or two about the sheer absurdity of it all. If you're looking for a brain-meltingly fun action flick to cap off the month, or if you've already caught Bullet Train on Hulu and want to hear our take, then hop aboard! We're blending our thoughts on its action and comedic elements with our usual casual banter, making this a perfect send-off to Action! April. All aboard for one last adrenaline-fueled stop!
