Mostly based on a true story, a group of teens conspire to murder a member of their friend group who has been an abusive asshole to all of them.Three O’Clock High (1987): Movie takes place in one school day – a mild mannered high school student Jerry Mitchell meets the legendary & mysterious bad boy Buddy Revell and makes the mistake of accidentally touching him, which leads Buddy to challenge Jerry to a fight after school.My Bodyguard (1980):Chris Makepeace plays Clifford Peache who enrolls in a new high school and is harassed by a bully named Moody (played by Matt Dillon). He makes an offer to the school’s most feared student, Ricky Linderman, to be his bodyguard.Tuff Turf (1985):James Spader plays Morgan, a teenager from Connecticut who moves to L.A. with his family after their family business goes broke. He struggles to make friends (except for Robert Downey Jr who plays a sort of new wave student who is also in a band). Morgan was bullied back in CT, but also gets bullied on a more serious level in L.A. after he makes a move on Frankie, a “tough girl” and girlfriend of Nick, the leader of the “Tuffs”, a local gang.Welcome to the Dollhouse (1995):Directed by Todd Solondz. Heather Matarazzo stars as 12 yr old Dawn Wiener, a shy and unpopular 7th grader living in suburban NJ. The movie focuses on how much of an outcast Dawn is – not just socially among other kids, but also within her own family.
