Burcar’s Rise: USA Gold, Chiefs Future | Spokane News

Gavin Burcar, the 17-year-old Spokane Chiefs forward, just returned from a stellar summer with Team USA at the U18 Hlinka-Gretzky Cup, where he helped secure second place and dazzled with five goals and four assists in five games. Already showing promise as a rookie last season with 17 points in 63 games, he’s now ramping up his game—shooting 8,000 pucks over the summer—to prepare for a bigger role this year. With Michigan State committed and no interest in the NTDP, Burcar’s focus is squarely on leading the Chiefs forward. He’s confident the team’s renewed energy and hunger will make this season their best yet. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
