Buried With Him In Baptism
from MAPS Global Sermons
R.A. Martinez speaks to our spiritual family on Baptism Sunday. The commandment and sacrament of water baptism is both a means of grace and a public confession of faith. The waters of baptism do more than wash away the sins we committed. We are buried with Jesus in baptism and joined to His finished work. When we go down into the watery grave with Jesus, our old man stays there, and a new creation comes up.
