Welcome to The Inspired Women Podcast. On this episode your host Megan Hall interviews Katie Suleta. Public health, research, evaluation, and data professional with experience in international program development and evaluation, population health analytics in domestic public insurance, nonprofit senior leadership, and graduate medical education. Her research career has spanned the HIV pandemic, the opioid crisis, Medicaid, and graduate medical education. The diversity of her experience allows her to appreciate the complexity and interconnectedness of our systems as it relates to public health and health care. As a trained epidemiologist with a background in infectious disease, I’ve been responsible for directly crunching the numbers that uncover the problem(s) in pandemics (e.g., HIV, H1N1). My education includes training in psychology (BA), public health (MPH), health informatics (MSHI), and epidemiology (ABD on PhD).
