Burn the Boats

 Alexander the Great had landed a fleet of ships carrying his army on Persian soil with a mission to attack and destroy the Persian Empire. This mission was in retribution for Persian aggression and brutality against his people. After the landing, Alexander gave to command to burn the boats. By doing so he made it clear; there is no retreat. The only option was forward. If his army wanted to survive they had to be successful.The hound hunting community is facing a similar situation.
