The Barn at Nordic Valley burnt down three days after filmmaker Cam McLeod released a short film documenting Nordic's aging 1970 fixed grip chairlift that no longer works but provided access to a special night skiing experience only a small hometown ski hill could offer. The title track to the film, The Proper Way's "Burn The Whole Thing Down."   Speaking of starting over, Chase Burch of Lucky Slice Pizza looked to solve the tired, overbuilt, soulless outdoor industry expo experience around snowboarding into a fresh, balanced, and culture based snowboard specific show.
