Burnout ili sagorevanje - advanced (B1.2-C1)

from Unlock your Serbian · host Nevena & Jelena

And welcome to a new episode of Unlock Your Serbian with Jelena and Nevena.Jelena (00:08) Tako je, dobro došli u još jednu epizodu našeg podkasta. I danas razgovaramo o burn-out-u. That's right, welcome to another episode of our podcast. And today we are talking about burn-out. Or how we could translate this into Serbian. Maybe burnout or professional burnout, in any case something that is often connected to work, when we have to work a lot.I možda, ponekad možemo da kažemo pregoreo sam.  Or maybe, sometimes we can say I'm burnt out.Nevena (00:36) Da, kada si rekla sagorevanje, ja mislim da bih ja pre rekla pregorevanje ili da bih pre iskoristila taj pridev, pregorela sam, nego što bih iskoristila neku imenicu. Yes, when you said burnout, I think I would rather say burning out, or I would sooner use that adjective "I am burnt out" than I would use a noun.I da, ovo je definitivno nešto što sigurno nije fenomen modernog doba, dakle sigurno nije nešto što postoji samo u poslednjih 10, 20, 30 godina, ali mislim da se oblik dosta promenio zato što sada imam osećaj da nam nije dozvoljeno da se isključimo dakle, nije dozvoljeno da ne radimo ili da ne razmišljamo o poslu ili generalno da nismo dostupni i mislim da je to najgore od svega. And yes, this is definitely something that is certainly not a phenomenon of the modern age, meaning it's certainly not something that has existed only in the last 10, 20, 30 years, but I think the form has changed a lot because now I have a feeling that we are not allowed to switch off, meaning, it's not allowed not to work or not to think about work, or generally not to be available, and I think that's the worst thing of all.Send us your questions!
