The defendant argues he fell asleep at the wheel and wasn’t drunk when the accident occurred. He doesn’t think he owes her and is countersuing for defamation. Plus, The plaintiff had been friends with the defendant for several years and eventually let the defendant move in with her. She claims the defendant’s dog damaged her car, so she’s suing. The defendant argues he never saw his dog cause the damage, so he isn’t even sure it’s the dog’s fault.
