"Business and Financial Insights with CEO of The Roundtable ATL- @Slimflair

Slim Ford is an entrepreneur who specializes in the financial services industry. During this interview, he detailed life growing up in the hood with his mom and brother as well as his transition to a career in finance. He also told us about his early challenges he faced while attending college at Albany State University were he was kicked out for having a 0.9 Gpa after year 1 only to come back and graduate with a dual degree in business and finance. He now holds an MBA in finance. After graduating , slim stated that it was difficult for him to find employment that suited his background and desired pay. He felt it was due to being an hbcu graduate pursuing opportunities in a predominantly caucasian dominated workforce that forced him to push harder just to get a shot at employment. After getting his foot in the door, slim was able to use his work ethic, and skill set to perpetuate him into the 6 figure bracket. He now has the pleasure of not only working full time as an employee but able to contract work and also service clients through his imprint “the Roundtable Atl” a company he created to guide individuals and businesses with business and financial services.
