from Nurse Marketing: The Business of Nursing with @talk2amelia

Welcome to another episode of the Business of Nursing! In this episode, Melissa, Wendy and I discuss taking a problem that does not get much visibility, that is pelvic health! We will also discuss a community favorite: a real life story of how a someone turned a challenging life experience into a solution by finding the RIGHT strategic partner! In this episode, you will hear about the following:  Creating a business structure that supports your life  Seeing a problem and  then realizing coming up with a solution is up to YOU  The benefits of strategic partnerships ABOUT OUR GUESTS Kathy’s firsthand knowledge about pelvic health comes from her personal experience, in seeking a solution to her own health challenges, she met up with Melissa. Melissa is a pelvic floor physical therapist with 8 years of experience and the owner of Wellest Integrative Health. On her journey to motherhood (she is a new mom!), Melissa saw first hand the disconnect between pelvic health and OBGYN care. They combined forces to utilize a holistic approach to pelvic health in their collaboration and mentoring of clinicians/ PTs and NPs. This duo is now ready to revolutionize the field of pelvic health TOGETHER! Connect with these two here: https://www.instituteforpelvichealth.com/ ABOUT OUR HOST Amelia Roberts is a digital native who officially became a practitioner of online marketing twelve years ago with a role as a virtual assistant. Student loans from nursing school inspired her to put her love of observing human nature, showing empathy and previous marketing experience to work in new ways and as a result, she was able to pay off her student loans in under 2 years. Now alongside other roles, you can find Amelia helping under-recognized professionals stand out and "get first dates" in business so that they can become thought leaders in the healthcare industry and beyond.
