My mother was from former Yugoslavia, and my father is from Bratislava in Slovakia, originally Czechoslovakia. I am the youngest of six children in my family. I took a leap of faith and left my job with Henrico County Public Schools to pursue my dream of having my own bakery business. This July, we celebrate six years in business. My husband, Rob, and I are an inseparable duo team. We make everything freshly baked to order. We pray and bless our desserts so that whoever eats our delicious desserts will feel love from Grandma. We pray that the taste combinations spark happiness and bliss to make their day better with the love and positivity that we pour into our batters and bake with love. We take old classics and put a new twist on them, giving them and our customers a unique taste experience.
