BUSTED! Caught In a Lie. What REALLY Happened to Lynette Hooker? Who Is Brian Hooker?

from I Don’t Belong Here w/Samantha Benigno · host Samantha Benigno

Brian & Lynette Hooker are American sailors from Michigan, known for their "The Sailing Hookers" social media pages, where they had been documenting their sailing adventures. In 2020 the couple sold everything to live their dream of an "authentic" sailing life. Brian claims that on the night of April 4, while traveling from Hope Town to Elbow Cay in rough conditions, Lynette fell overboard with the boat keys, stalling the engine. He reported being unable to find her, paddling to shore, and alerting authorities early the next morning. The problem is those closest to Lynette do not by this story and neither do police. As it turns out when you listen closely to Mr. Hooker's statement, there are VERY SERIOUS PROBLEMS ALREADY!  Lynette's family, including her daughter, and her Mother, have expressed skepticism regarding the account, citing the couple's volatile relationship history and that Lynette was an experienced sailor. In this video we explore these explains and discuss what really happened to Lynette.
