But God :: Week 1

The Easter holiday has become such a part of our culture that many people rarely think of the significance of why we celebrate. We have dumbed down the story so much that it seems like it is less about Christ's journey to and death on the cross and more about bunny rabbits and egg hunts. We celebrate "spring" as a season more than we celebrate Christ as our Savior. In this message we will look at the depravity of man and the grace of God and the eternal hope that is birthed out of His mercy. Without God we have nothing of value to offer. Left to our own devices we would remain eternally separated from His love and forgiveness. But God... shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
