But, I'm a Cheerleader

from No More Late Fees Hosted by No More Late Fees

Break out your pom-poms, because this week Jackie and Danielle are diving headfirst into the pastel fever dream that is But I’m a Cheerleader! Joined by returning guest Zoe, the trio tackles the satirical cult classic where Natasha Lyonne’s perky protagonist finds herself at a conversion therapy camp that looks like a Barbie Dreamhouse got hijacked by homophobia. With RuPaul serving Butch Realness, Melanie Lynskey feeling up Jan during wedding dress fittings it’s safe to say no one is straight — not even the plot. As the crew recounts shock therapy nightstands, trauma-induced make outs, and how a two-second boob graze earned this movie an NC-17 rating (the 2000s were wild), they manage to balance campy humor with real talk about sexuality, queer identity, and why it seems every straight man kisses like a vacuum cleaner on meth. Whether you’re a 5-day rental fan or ready to throw this one in the doghouse (literally), this episode is a cheer-filled, glitter-coated ode to being loud and proud. ·Season 5 Episode 8· — No More Late Fees https://nomorelatefeespodcast.com 909-601-NMLF (6653) — Follow Us on Social: Instagram https://www.instagram.com/nomorelatefees TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@nomorelatefees Facebook https://www.facebook.com/nomorelatefees Youtube https://www.youtube.com/@nomorelatefees Twitter https://x.com/NoMoreLateFees — CONQUERing myconquering.com 10% Off Code: JACKIE10 — Zoe Instagram https://www.instagram.com/somelikeitpop/?hl=en Twitter https://x.com/somelikeitpop TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@somelikeitpop?lang=en BlueSky https://bsky.app/profile/somelikeitpop.bsky.social — Zoe’s Previous Episodes Joy Ride https://nomorelatefeespodcast.com/episode/joy-ride Millennials meet Gen Z with Zoe of Some Like it Pop https://nomorelatefeespodcast.com/episode/millennials-meet-gen-z-with-zoe-of-some-like-it-pop Rolling Stone Top 500 with Zoe https://nomorelatefeespodcast.com/episode/rolling-stone-top-500-with-zoe

Shut Up I Love It Sasha Feiler and Joe Cabello Many years ago, Sasha Feiler and Joe Cabello met in line for an improv show. They were young, dumb, and full of it. What followed were comedy shows so explicit, “genitalia” was practically a term of endearment.Fast forward 5 dogs, 6 cats, and way too many weird inside jokes later, Sasha and Joe are no longer young or dumb—but they’re still brimming with you-know-what. Here, they’ve teamed up to bring you a podcast where they interview a guest who passionately defends something universally hated, misunderstood, forgotten, overlooked, Mandela-effected, canceled—you name it. The key? They LOVE it. From toupees... to B-movies... to aliens, psychedelics, and the occasional surprise character, Sasha and Joe are here to spread love to the world that birthed them (but maybe should’ve used protection). So come and get that love because no one else will give it to you like we do.Also, don’t forget to check out the Patreon Bonus version of the show:https://www.patreon.com/c/ShutUpILoveItP Explicit
