But Seek First

Sunday Service: January 26, 2025 • Pastor Q Kim at HOPE Church in Clarksville, MD --- Pastor Q's sermon focuses on Matthew 6:33, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing God's kingdom and righteousness above all else. He contrasts the worries of non-believers with the assurance that God, as a loving Father, knows and provides for His children's needs. He shares that seeking God first demonstrates trust and faith, citing examples like Abraham and Jesus. The sermon challenges us to examine our priorities, asking if God truly holds the first place in our lives. He concludes by connecting this concept to the idea of believers being temples of God, carrying His presence into the world and making every place a potential place of worship and encounter with God. He encourages us to seek God first this year and witness His amazing work in our lives.
