Celebrating the Confession of Saint Peter in the Church Calendar. January 18, 2024 Our general order and lectionary comes from the Book of Common Prayer Daily Office. We’ll sing “Holy Forever” by Chris Tomlin, Phil Wickham, Brian Johnson, Jenn Johnson, and Jason Ingram with a prayer of confession. We’ll read Psalm 23 followed by the Gloria Patri. Our Scripture lesson is Matthew 16:13-19. We’ll say the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Collect of the Day followed by a time of spontaneous, prompted prayer.
