Butler Family Renames Notre Dame Auditorium | Notre Dame Fighting Irish Football News

Notre Dame’s football team just got a game-changer: their new 190-seat auditorium in Jack and Kathy Shields Family Hall is now officially named the Dave and Clare Butler Auditorium, thanks to a massive donation from the Butlers—Dave, a former Fighting Irish linebacker (1983–1986), and Clare. The space boasts stadium-like premium seating, cinema-quality sound and visuals, and top-tier video replay tech. Beyond this upgrade, the Butlers are also funding a linebacker scholarship and an endowment for cancer research, showing deep commitment to Notre Dame’s athletic and medical future.
