Butler Heads to Chapel Hill for UNC Clash

Butler’s basketball team is set to battle the North Carolina Tar Heels in Chapel Hill on December 6th, kicking off a two-game series with the return matchup slated for 2027-28. This high-stakes showdown is just one highlight of a rapidly unfolding non-conference slate that also includes road games against Nebraska and Boise State, plus five home contests at Hinkle Fieldhouse. The two schools have a storied history, having met six times with a nearly even record, including a memorable NCAA tournament clash in 2017. While broadcast details and the full schedule remain pending, this trip to North Carolina is already shaping up as a must-watch moment for Bulldogs fans.
