Buxton, Twins avoid major injury Monday

Byron Buxton has been diagnosed with a mid-foot sprain after falling to the turf at Target Field on Monday. Twins manager Rocco Baldelli went on Sirius FM MLB Network to give an update on his centerfielder, confirming that he avoided a major injury. The Twins have since announced that Buxton is day-to-day.
