Buyer's consultations- what to expect from the realtor and the lender

I am joined by Ryan Cvammen of NFM Lending so he can give the perspective on the lender's process. A consultation is definitely a great way for realtors to find out what your wants and needs are so we can create a personalized home search. The personalized home search will only send you homes that fit what you're looking for and in the areas you're interested in within your budget. Being within your budget is key, so that's why getting a preapproval is key! A consultation with a lender is a great way for them to find out your wants and needs and figure out what you are comfortable with as far as a monthly payment. You should have a consultation with a lender to make sure they will treat you like a person and not a number or a paycheck.
