Anne Katz is the Executive Director of Create Wisconsin, a cultural development organization that promotes and advocates for a vibrant arts economy in Wisconsin. She discusses with Jan Miyasaki the importance of the arts for communities and humanity as a whole, how they are doing in light of federal funding cuts, and how public and private funders can make up the shortfall. They are partnering with Ruth Foundation for the Arts to offer a Statewide Artist Grant, applications due mid-February 2026.
