Continuing our lead up to the Oscars, we sit down to discuss two of our highlights from this year - Hidden Figures and Moonlight. Both featuring Mahershala Ali and Janelle Monáe, these fantastic films make up for us having to sit through La La Land last week. We talk about directors that work with purpose, why the Oscars seem allergic to crowd pleasing movies, and cross our fingers that this year will be the first of many that rewards movies featuring actors of color.
