It's Becca's birthday! So, she got to pick the topic and OF COURSE she chose something soccer related. We discuss Megan Rapinoe's decision to kneel for the National Anthem, following the lead of Colin Kaepernick and others who have peacefully protested at sporting events over the years. We talk about the history of the anthem and try to unravel the meaning behind our flag, the song, and why so many people cherish both.
