The day started out with head coach James Franklin meeting with the media at noon to discuss the upcoming 15 practices for roughly 40 minutes. Next, the team gave the media an extended view into practice, including a one-on-one period. There was a report yesterday that Penn State was tentatively interested in doing a joint practice with Temple. We'll discuss the pros and cons of that idea. Next, we'll dive into open practice and review the things we saw and heard from the offense and defense during the open period on Tuesday evening. Reporter Greg Pickel was at the event and will give his thoughts on both sides of the ball. We'll also discuss the new-look receiver room and which players stood out during the first day of practice. Between the LinesNext, we'll rewind the clock to earlier on Tuesday and discuss Franklin's comments to the media about a variety of topics.
