I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. I will love thee, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually. But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.
