Everyone knows what it's like to have family drama! Whether we mean to or not, sometimes we just don't get along. Sometimes we do things we shouldn't on purpose, but more often than not, we're more focused on what we want and need than on what others want and need. Often when we hurt someone we love, it's not because we meant to, but simply because we weren't being considerate. Trying to navigate these relationships is hard, and every situation is different. There aren't many easy answers to family reconciliation, and it takes time and commitment. The good news is that even though families have had problems for thousands of years, our God loves people dearly and has made a way for all people to be reconciled! Today we're going to be looking at the story of a family that really struggled to do the right thing, and failed many times. In many ways, this family is an example of how bad things can get when unconditional love and forgiveness are not present.
