BYU Eyes Big Transfer Target Kohler | Big 12 Basketball News

BYU basketball could be getting a major upgrade as Jaxon Kohler, the 6’10”, 245-pound forward from Michigan State, enters the transfer portal — and he’s seriously considering a return to Utah. After putting up career highs last season, Kohler was already viewed as a top target for BYU, especially since the Cougars have been desperately seeking big-man depth. His eligibility is now cleared, and he’s even been spotted playing with current BYU players — fueling the buzz. While Louisville and Kentucky are also in the mix, BYU’s two open roster spots make this a perfect fit. Don’t forget: they were also eyeing Keba Keita, but bringing back both would be tough — they’d compete for minutes. Kohler’s decision could reshape BYU’s roster in the next few weeks.
