BYU Faces Tough Test Against Noah Fifita | Arizona Wildcats Football News

BYU’s defense faces a daunting test this Saturday against Arizona’s sharp, strong-armed QB Noah Fifita — a player who thrives on reading defenses and delivering powerful throws. With key safety Raider Damuni sidelined, the Cougars must bring elite coverage and relentless pressure to contain him. Head coach Kalani Sitake respects Arizona’s disruptive unit, highlighted by their stifling shutout performance against Northern Arizona. The game hinges on BYU’s front seven and secondary staying disciplined and intense — because Arizona will come ready to fight. Meanwhile, freshman receiver Legend Glasker made an electrifying debut, though repeating that magic against a tougher opponent will be tough — but his speed could create big plays if others draw defenders. Looking ahead, expectations are high: 8-10 wins possible, with brutal tests against Notre Dame and Utah looming. Consistency will be the difference between a great season and a breakthrough one.
