BYU Football Injury Updates & Freshman Fire | Arizona Wildcats Football News

BYU football gets a major injury update: safety Raider Damuni’s leg issue isn’t season-ending, with hopes of his return in weeks—possibly for the Notre Dame clash on October 17. Tommy Prassas steps in at strong safety, ready to fill the void, while junior Faletau Satuala returns at free safety. The defense is also leaning on versatile backs like Cannon DeVries and Crew Clark, especially against Arizona’s QB Noah Fifita. On offense, running back Sione Moa remains sidelined for evaluation but likely won’t miss the whole year. Big wins on special teams: DeVries wins Big 12 Co-Special Teams Player of the Week after a 100-yard kickoff TD and top-3 punt returns nationally. Freshman Legend Glasker also shines, earning Freshman of the Week honors with three touchdowns—his first since Jamaal Williams in 2012.
