BYU Lands Polish Center Urbaniak | BYU Cougars Basketball News

BYU just got a major boost with the commitment of 6-foot-9 Polish center Jakub Urbaniak, who averaged nearly nine points and over five rebounds last season in the top Polish league and even played in the EuroCup. With international experience on Poland’s senior national team and standout performances—including a 32-point, 19-rebound game—he brings the physicality and versatility BYU desperately needed. This signing fills a key roster gap, adding depth and options as the Cougars gear up for the season, even as they still have two spots left to fill.
