(( Funky Jackin House )) This track is a re-edit/refix bootleg mashup of Corduroy Mavericks "Do My Thang" and Tom Shorterz "Cafe of Love" It is the opening track of my upcoming winter mix 2011/2012. I would first like to send a big thank you to both Corduroy Mavericks & Tom Shorterz for creating such intelligently funky tracks that incorporate samples of James Brown, Young MC and many others. Check both of these artists out if you have the chance as they are both redefining House in their own unique way. This is the first time that I am uploading one of my re-fix/re-edit's on SoundCloud for others, so that they can get taste of what happens behind the scenes in the studio with regards to the production of my mix releases... As I have mentioned in the past... It takes a lot of meticulous thought and creativity to capture a certain vibe within a mix... Especially when one is re-arranging and enhancing someone else's music... This is just one example of using Ableton Live and a hint of imagination to create something different, new and unique from the original pieces...
