mmhhh happy glorious Friday lovers.I wrote a poem about its origin…. Recently I have had many people send me reels with twangy Australian voices using the word cunt not unlike the consistent word of “um”……Australia as a nation has single handedly used, abused and totally tainted the beauty of cunt and made it become so common in its degrading. Because that is no place for her at all.So I wrote a poem about her and thought I would share a little history to you all for your reading pleasure.The word cunt is one of the oldest known terms for the female genitalia actually predating patriarchal language systems. IN fact her earliest linguistic ancestors appear in Sanskrit: yoni (meaning “sacred source” or “womb of creation.”), in Proto-Germanic & Old Norse.. kunta or kunte, which denotes “woman” or “female power.” and the good ole Old English…..cunte, a neutral and descriptive word simply meaning vulva.Before the word was shamed and weaponized, it was a god damn title of reverence, associated with the goddess, creation, and the life-giving portal from which all beings are born.And the pure poetic essence of “Cunt” once meant the holy doorway, the temple gate through which life emerges.It was a word of worship, a name for the divine feminine, for the dark, wet, fertile mystery that births stars, souls and god damn rock stars! ( and the weavers, potters, farmers and pilots)..all of them truth be told 1It is the cave of creation,the sanctum of pleasure and power,the seat of intuition,the portal between worlds…death, birth, ecstasy, and rebirth.To speak it in its original vibration was to invoke the Goddess herself Kundalini, Kali, Isis, Inanna, the Great Mother.So…for this Friday morning I am just doing my own bit of reclaiming and i hope you like it.This is not about shock value ( although… maybe just a little ) but it is more about remembering.It is about returning the word to her rightful throne god damn it.from slur to spell,from shame to sovereignty.When spoken with awareness, cunt becomes a prayer, a dripping pulse and a reclamation of our erotic, creative divinity.Happy Friday loversAlways with PleasureM💋 This is a public episode.
