And like most of the parables that Jesus told, this one all started with a question that Jesus was asked. Let’s look at the question Luke 10:25 says, “On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?” Every day we have choices to love our neighbor and show compassion.
