Are you finding it difficult to take God at his word? Then you need to hear the opening lines of Genesis 21:1–2: “Now the LORD was gracious to Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did for Sarah what he had promised. 2 Sarah became pregnant and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the very time God had promised him.” Isn't that good to hear?Although it took 25 years, God didn't forget his promise to Sarah (17:19). Unlike us, God never forgets, overlooks or ignores his word. He is always willing and able to fulfill his commitments without any limitations of time, health, or strength. Be it giving a baby to a 90-year-old woman or raising his Son from the dead, nothing is impossible for the Lord.
