Over fifty-nine times we read in the Owner’s Manual to either treat OR avoid treating one another in a very specific way. These passages are commonly referred to as the “one another” passages. For the next several weeks we’re going to spend time exploring the one another's in scripture. While all of the “one another” practices are important there is one that stands above the rest. In fact, it is so important that Jesus, John, Peter, and Paul command us to treat one another in this way. We find Jesus emphasizing this expectation to his disciples (family) in the hours prior to his arrest. John 13:34, “A new command I give you: Love one another.
