After a long day of teaching a crowd of approximately 10,000 people, the disciples set sail across the sea towards Capernaum in the evening. As darkness fell and the winds picked up, their boat was tossed on the waves. Little did they realize that something incredible was about to happen, even in the middle of their fear. During the storm, the disciples saw someone walking on the water toward them., which caused them to feel both afraid and amazed. Eventually, they recognized that their teacher, Jesus, was coming toward them.
