Caballero Back at Shortstop

Jose Caballero is back at shortstop for the Yankees, a bold move that could reshape their season—especially with Aaron Judge out. Caballero’s elite defense and timely hitting made him indispensable earlier this year, even earning him a stint on the injured list. Now, with Volpe back but Caballero’s versatility keeping him in the lineup, the Yankees are prioritizing immediate wins. Returning him to shortstop gives them a Gold Glove-caliber defender at the most critical position, while his offense continues to deliver when it matters most. This isn’t just a temporary fix—it’s a strategic reset that could define their playoff push. Support the show: Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
