Emigrado a los Estados Unidos a principios de los años sesenta y redescubierto por el actor Andy García en los años noventa en la película documental Cachao… como su ritmo no hay dos que le llevó al éxito en el mundo del jazz cubano y el danzón. Reconocidos virtuosos le arropan en éste histórico concierto que rendimos como homenaje a uno de los más grandes bajistas cubanos.
