Cade Flatt on his experience at the Millrose games, mindset, his ankle injury, and more!

from Running In Circles · host Zach Hamilton

Today on the podcast I’m joined by the one and only Cade Flatt! Cade is currently a freshman at the university of Mississippi and already has quite the resume. While in highschool he became the 2nd fastest 800 meter runner on the high school all time list by running 1:46.48 coming just .03 off of the national record of 1.46.45! Cade also won new balance nationals for indoor and outdoor last year, and even competed in the USATF championships in Eugene Oregon. Cade recently ran the Millrose games and had a bit of a disappointing race due to an ankle injury prior to the race but Cade still came on the podcast and made no excuses and was very transparent and honest about his race and I think that says a lot about his character so I hope you enjoy listening to the episode as much as I did making it! Throughout this episode Cade discusses his tough race at Millrose, updates us on his ankle injury, his mindset, how he’s liking Ole Miss so far, his opinion on “The Batman”, answers some funny would you rather questions and more! If you enjoy the episode please leave a five star review wherever you’re listening and share the podcast with a friend because it really helps the podcast reach new people which means that more people get to hear the stories of all these incredible runners!
