Cade Tyson Returns to Gophers | Minnesota Golden Gophers Basketball News

Cade Tyson is officially back with the Gophers men’s basketball team — and this is huge. The top scorer from last season, averaging nearly 20 points per game, is enrolled in classes and practicing with the squad, though his playing status remains pending. Coach Niko Medved confirmed the excitement of having him return, even as roster limits had previously blocked his return. But thanks to the NCAA’s recent House vs. NCAA settlement, which introduces Designated Student-Athletes (DSAs) that don’t count toward the roster cap, Minnesota now has room for Tyson. The door is wide open — and fans are watching closely to see if he’ll step back onto the court. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
