Cadin Naylor Shares the Basics of Mushroom Farming
from Good is What Makes You Feel Well · host Anna Resende
Send us Fan MailOn today’s episode, I’m talking to Cadin Naylor who is Barbara and Kevin Naylor’s (from 5Sprouts Farm) oldest son. Cadin is living proof that the seeds we plant in our kids throughout parenthood will sooner or later become sprouts. After graduating from high school and working in the food industry for almost a decade, Cadin fell in love with culinary mushrooms. He then started the research which led him to start his own mushroom farm. Misty Mountain Mushrooms is now a formal LLC and under Cadin’s growing entrepreneurial knowledge and strong sustainable principles will grow to be our local resource for fresh mushrooms like Oyster, Lions Maine, and Cordyceps, to name a few. Cadin continues to learn about different species and sustainable ways to improve his production. I just loved our conversation and how inspiring his story is for other young adults looking for a purpose-driven professional life.
