Waltman is a wide spot in the road and not a likely destination for anyone but the few — very few — folks who live there. I was on the way to somewhere else. There was no cafe, but there was this sign that told of the cafe that was. I make it a habit to stop at these places when they are open — and not just to help them with my purchasing dollars. They tend to have pretty good food, always a story or two, and a memory that I carry with me long after lunch is over.
