CAFMA Crews Save Chino Valley Home From Fire

Send us a text and chime in!On Sunday, May 10, 2026, at approximately 3:39 p.m., the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority (CAFMA) responded to a reported tree fire with extension to a home in the area of Windsong Way and West Road 3 North in Chino Valley. The fire started while a propane torch was being used outdoors to burn weeds. Wind conditions caused the fire to spread rapidly into nearby shrubs and the corner of the home.
