CAFMA Offers Babysitting Certification for Youth

Send us a text and chime in!The Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority (CAFMA) will once again offer its Babysitting Certification Class for youth ages 11 to 14, providing hands-on training designed to help young babysitters build confidence and practical safety skills. The four-day course prepares participants to safely care for children and respond well in emergency situations. Topics covered include communication skills, basic childcare, age-appropriate activities, nutrition and food safety, CPR and AED awareness, basic first aid, situational awareness, emergency preparedness, and tips for choosing safe and appropriate babysitting opportunities.
