Caglianone Shatters Records with 4-For-4 Night | Kansas City Royals News

Caglianone, the 23-year-old Royals first baseman, just delivered a historic performance: four hits, two doubles, and two homers in one game — including a mammoth 448-foot blast. He became the first MLB player this year to hit two doubles and two homers in a single game, tying a Royals record for extra-base hits. His power, both in the gym (squatting 600 pounds) and on the field, is rewriting expectations for young talent — and the Royals are reaping the rewards with a 6-3 win.
