Caglianone’s HR Blast Seals Royals Win | Kansas City Royals News

Jac Caglianone exploded in a fireworks display of power, smashing two homers and four hits as the Royals crushed the Cubs 6-3. His first blast sent a solo shot nearly 450 feet into the night, then he returned in the seventh with a two-run homer that sealed the win. It was his first game with four extra-base hits and fifth career multi-homer game — all while hitting .500 over his last eight games. Seth Lugo anchored the offense with six strong innings, and the bullpen, led by Nate Pearson’s first save, locked it down. The win snapped the Cubs’ five-game winning streak and evened the series. Tonight’s rubber match sees Randy Dobnak facing Matthew Boyd — first pitch at 10 PM CT. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
